History in the Making

Hey Everyone,

Coca-Cola celebrated their 128th birthday! In fact, did you know that Jacob's Pharmacy was where Coca-Cola was first served as a fountain drink. Click here to read more about the overall history of Coca-Cola's origin story.

In conjunction with Coca-Cola and their early beginning's at Jacob's Pharmacy, the Marietta/Cobb Museum of Art currently has on exhibit the original painting of Jacob's Pharmacy by Wilbur G. Kurtz. Thank you to Coca-Cola for loaning the artwork to us! The painting along with other works of Wilbur G. Kurtz will be on exhibit at the museum until July 3, 2014.
