Atlanta Artist Corey Barksdale’s work is continually inspired by jazz and African American culture. “It frees me to do what I feel when I’m painting,” Barksdale says. While painting, he often listens to jazz greats like Charlie Parker, Miles Davis and John Coltrane.
Dominican born Felix Berroa paints mostly women and children in abstract surroundings. These subjects he finds the most tender and beautiful. His paintings endeavor to capture the emotional drama of the human being.
James Partee’s extraordinary career spans some four decades. His never-ending contributions to wildlife conservation and humanitarian charities have truly established his reputation as a “Celebrity Among Artists”. His God-given talent and gregarious personality have taken his work and popularity far and wide throughout North America and abroad. Partee was born in Bainbridge, Georgia, where his “early brushes with wildlife” occurred amongst the abundant wild game, flora and fauna of his native outdoor habitat.
